Mr. Dennis Bisera Isomba (DeBISO)
STEM Educator • Maker • Human-Centered Innovator
My work as an educator begins with a simple belief: learning should feel human before it feels technical. I am Mr. Dennis Bisera Isomba (DeBISO) a science and engineering educator who believes that the heart of STEM lies not just in formulas or machines, but in people, ideas, and the courage to build a better world.
Over the past seven years, I have taught Chemistry, Physics, and Engineering with one central goal to help students see themselves as creators, problem-solvers, and changemakers. In my classroom, students are not passive learners; they are designers, collaborators, and explorers. Whether we’re prototyping a model, analyzing data, or rethinking how everyday materials can be reused sustainably, my approach blends rigorous inquiry with empathy-driven design.
To me, STEM education is not only about preparing students for the future of work it’s about preparing them to lead with humanity in an increasingly complex world. That means teaching them to think critically, act responsibly, and create solutions that matter to people and communities. Every experiment, project, and conversation is an invitation to wonder and to care.
This portfolio reflects my journey one shaped by continuous growth, reflection, and a commitment to excellence in both teaching and leadership. Within these pages, you will find the philosophies that guide my practice, examples of innovation in the classroom, and moments that remind me why education remains the most powerful form of engineering there is: the engineering of human potential.
Thank you for visiting. I invite you to explore, reflect, and see how science and compassion can work together to build not just smarter minds, but stronger communities. Do not forget to drop me a comment, email, quote or request for mentorship via my contact lines below.
